As a Court Support Officer, I provide guidance and support to clients navigating the justice system. This includes helping them understand court procedures, supporting them through legal matters, and ensuring they feel informed and empowered throughout the process. Technology plays a significant role in the criminal justice profession. It is used to improve efficiency, communication, and access to information. Examples include:

While these technologies offer clear benefits, the introduction of AI into these systems raises ethical concerns. AI is increasingly being used in legal research, case management, and predictive decision-making, which may impact the fairness and reliability of outcomes (Susskind, 2019).
